Personal reflection#2 Integrating Special needs Individuals into society

Personal Reflection #2 – Integrating Special needs Individuals into society

Based on our 2053 class discussion and my research into the future center and Paralympics I can reflect on how people can be better integrate into society in these ways:
The Future Centre for Special Needs is an Abu Dhabi based nonprofit organization which specializes in the education and rehabilitation of individuals with special needs also caters to an annual average of 180 students aged between 3 and 23 and enrolled in various education programmers and rehabilitation services offered by the centre and this school is divided into Senior and Junior Sections. The Senior Section has students between the ages of 10 and 23 years while the Junior Section has students between 3 and 10 years of age.
The United Arab Emirates started actively participating in the Paralympics community during the 1990. So in London 2012 Paralympics UAE opened with Abdulla Sultan Al Aryani clinching the gold medal in the shooting event this a example for UAE Paralympics.
UAE Paralympics athletes went through emotional moments of national pride during a red carpet reception at the Dubai International Airport. We are here to say a big thank you to our boys who conquered the impossible,” said Yousuf Yaqoub Al Serkal.
Mohammed Al Hamli, chairman UAE Disabled Sports Federation said We have been receiving all kinds of support and encouragement in the past, but right now, the time has come to embark on a long term strategy to prepare the athletes for the 2016 Rio Olympics.

What does it mean to be Emirati : reflective log#1

What does it mean to be Emirati

Every human being on this plant should be proud of the place where he was born, the society that he had been raised in, and the principles and rules of his culture. Being an Emirati has several reasons acted upon me and the other citizens who are living on the land of the United Arab Emirates.

Being called as “Emirati” gives you the feeling of proudness, satisfaction, and importance. Therefore, the United Arab Emirates had accomplished the highest level of success and reached the place where more than what had been accepted was done since the old traditional culture. The most important example is the unity that was on the 2nd of December 1971.

Sheikh Zayed, who was referred to every citizen living on the his land as a father, who had changed a whole culture from a desert to a country which nowadays living in the most high standards but at the same time sticks to its local culture, traditions, and religion. Therefor the UAE nowadays had provided it’s citizens with the high technical skills, best healthcare, construction, the growing industry, the comfortable transportation, and the feeling of safeness and secure.

As a conclusion, the UAE did put great effort to have the facilities which surrounds its citizens nowadays, and struggled through harsh and difficult conditions in order to reach the high and fancy level of living .I believe as me called “Emirati” that’s for sure makes me filled with pleasure with proud.
